'Spring' is my personal reaction to the experiences of Dutch-Iranian refugees and is dedicated to those whom I was able to listen to, including prof. dr. Halleh Ghorashi. Although 'Spring' is the last song on my upcoming album OUTSIDER, it was the first one I wrote for it. It captures a moment of sympathy, lamentation, of deep sadness, and ending with the longing for hope.

What if difficult hostile thoughts could be transformed into humble questions and an invitation to share meal together? This song will be officially released on my debut album.

I found the perfect location for my song about trees: New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Bayou St. John neighborhood. The oak trees are truly enchanting.
